That 70’s Show

A decade-defining sitcom about a group of teens growing up and getting by with a little help from weed, beer, sex, and rock and roll. One of the last truly successful live-studio-audience sitcoms, and featuring a young Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher, it’s well worth a watch.

Friday

Two friends smoke a dealer’s weed and have to come up with the money to pay him back by 10pm. Chris Tucker, Ice Cube, and an all-star cast have made Friday one of the best comedies in the last 30 years.

Mac & Devin Go To High School

A high school valedictorian pairs up with a 15th year senior and drug dealer. One needs life experience; the other needs help graduating in this late night stoner comedy starring Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa and Mike Epps.

(Crime/Thriller TV Series, 2016 | IMDB 7.0)

A group of thieves get their hands on a huge marijuana shipment in Europe. A French crime drama, Cannabis offers a different look and feel (and language) than many of the U.S.-based entries on this list.

Green Is Gold

When a 13-year old’s father is sent to prison, he’s sent to live with his estranged, pot-growing brother. It’s a drama with the plot of a sitcom, so you can get your serious fix without taking yourself too seriously.

Abdullah Saeed and his team host elaborate cannabis dinner parties. Guest chefs and a kitchen stocked with an enormous selection of marijuana ingredients set the stage for good times and great, cannabis-infused food.

Hulu has a number of other weed-based movies and series, but you’ll have to be a Hulu Live TV subscriber or you have one of their add-on services (like HBO or Showtime).
