Boulder County Mask Mandates Have Changed (9.3.21)

In response to a surge in delta variant cases, Boulder County is reinstating its indoor mask mandate beginning Fri, Sep 3, 2021 at 5pm. Regardless of vaccination status, all guests are now required to wear a mask while shopping at Karing Kind in North Boulder.

While these mask mandates are new, our commitment to customer safety is not. Other steps we have already taken to keep our staff and customers safe will remain in effect, including:

All staff wear masks and sanitize the shop and common surfaces throughout the day
Disposable masks are available for purchase for all guests
When necessary to allow for social distancing, we will limit the total number of guests allowed to shop inside at a time
To help ensure a speedy but comfortable and convenient shopping experience for all of our visitors, we encourage guests to browse our online menu and reserve their order in advance (you can always add or remove items from your order in store)

How to Order from Karing Kind During Colorado’s COVID Restrictions

We appreciate your patience as we adapt to our procedures to keep our customers and staff safe during the current pandemic. Here’s what you need to know to place and pick up your order:

We’re open from 9am-10pm. Happy hours every day between 9-10am and 7-10pm.

We’re serving customers in store. We are happy to serve customers in store again at limited capacity. In some cases, we may ask you to wait outside briefly if we are at capacity. We apologize for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your support in maintaining social distancing.

Face masks are required for all staff. Starting 5pm Fri, Sep 3, 2021, masks are required for all customers regardless of vaccination status (we will NEVER ask about your vaccination or medical history), and are available for purchase at the door if you forget yours.

We encourage all customers to reserve your order online (OR call 303-449-9333 to pre-order by phone). Member deals will be applied and payment will be collected when you arrive for pick-up. Cash is required to speed up service, and you can access our in-store ATM again!

MAY 20, 2021 UPDATE

Boulder County Mask Mandates Have Changed (5.20.21)

While we will NEVER ask you about your vaccination or medical history, individuals who freely indicate they are fully vaccinated AND it has been at least two weeks from their final vaccine shot can shop in store without a mask on. For the safety and comfort of all our staff and guests, we continue to encourage the use of face masks regardless of your vaccination status. Please note these policies may change based on Boulder County regulations.

APRIL 4, 2020 UPDATE

The state has provided new guidance for recreational dispensaries, and we’re making a few small changes that will allow us to simplify our process while protecting staff and customer safety.

What does this mean for you? Starting immediately (Sat, 4/4):

Pick up or order in store one at a time. We’re open from 9am-10pm every day.
We ask that customers remain in your car while waiting for your turn to shop. We will call the next customer in when it’s your turn.
We continue to encourage all customers to pre-order online. You can also call 303-449-9333 to pre-order by phone. Payment will be collected when you arrive for pick-up. Cash is preferred to speed up service, and you can access our on-site ATM again!

MARCH 31, 2020 UPDATE

It’s been a tough few weeks, and we want to start by saying we hope you are all staying safe and healthy.

We appreciate your patience as we adapt to new guidance from Colorado and public health officials. And we have good news for our customers! Starting immediately, we’re open from 9am-10pm again! We’re also changing from curbside pickup to in-store pickup at our ID check window.

What does this mean for you? Starting immediately (Tue, 3/31):

We’re open daily from 9am-10pm again! This also means our evening happy hour is back: from 7-10pm, get your order tax free + get a free gram of any same tier strain with purchase of any 1/8th.
Pick-up from our ID check window. We will serve customers one at a time from our ID check window (instead of curbside pickup). We have also placed clear markers outside our shop so you can wait in line while maintaining at least 6-ft distance from other customers. We’ll call in the next customer when it is your turn.
We continue to encourage all customers to pre-order online. This will speed up the ordering and pickup process. We’ll have your order ready for pick-up when you arrive. Payment for any pre-orders will be accepted on site.

MARCH 23, 2020 UPDATE

On Sunday, Mar 22, Gov. Polis signed an executive order aimed to increase Colorado’s response to the growing threat from COVID-19.

In order to comply with this latest order and protect the health and safety of our staff and customers, Karing Kind is implementing a range of changes to our operations, starting immediately and lasting the duration of the executive order (Mon, Mar 23 – Fri, Apr 10).

How will this affect you, the customer? Starting 9am Mon, Mar 23:

We can ONLY serve customers who have already placed a pre-order online or over the phone. Please call when you arrive, and only after placing your order online or over the phone.

Curbside pickup only. You will reserve your products through our online menu and pay on location from your vehicle. When you arrive in our parking lot, please call 303-449-9333 to let us know you have arrived, what vehicle you are in, and whether you will be paying with cash or credit card.
We are working on accepting payments over the phone and online. While we are not currently accepting payments through our website menu, that function will be available VERY soon. Please bear with us and be prepared to pay with cash or credit card from your vehicle.
There will be no access to our on-site ATM. We ask that you come prepared with cash or credit card. And please note the $3 credit card processing fee.

At Karing Kind, customer and employee health and safety has always been our top priority.

The COVID-19 virus is affecting every aspect of life in Boulder and around the country. We’ve been carefully monitoring the situation—including updates from Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Boulder County health officials, and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other health organizations.

In addition to the extensive health and safety practices we have always followed to ensure pure, clean products, we have developed additional precautionary measures to ensure we help protect our customers and employees during this trying time.

We Remain Open to Serve You – Our hours will remain the same for the time being (open daily from 9am – 10pm). We will notify email and text subscribers if there are any changes.

We Request You Pre-Order Whenever Possible – To help with social distancing, we are encouraging all shoppers to pre-order from our online menu for faster pick-up in store. If you are coming inside to shop, please try to maintain a 6 foot gap between yourself and other guests, and leave your friends or family in the car while you browse.

Please Stay Home If You’re Feeling Any Symptoms – We ask that you postpone your visit if you experience any flu-like symptoms or if you have reason to believe you may have been exposed to the novel coronavirus or come in contact with someone who has. We reserve the right to refuse service as needed to protect our employees and customers.

Enhanced Cleanliness – Our standard cleaning procedures have always used certified disinfectants to maintain the cleanliness of our dispensary and equipment. We sanitize our waiting and display areas multiple times every day, and our budtenders wash or disinfect their hands after every interaction. We now also provide hand sanitizer on location for our customers.
